A college town near Norfolk

In Hollywood Homes, residents are welcomed by tall, lush trees and walkable streets just 7 miles east of Norfolk and 13 miles west of Virginia Beach. “It’s a nice area for commuters since there’s easy access to the interstate,” says Robin DiBuono, associate broker with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. DiBuono worked in real estate for over three decades and has lived in the Hampton Roads area her whole life. The area is close to Virginia Wesleyan College and Virginia State University, making it a hub for students and young professional homebuyers. “The area is also near a bunch of military bases, which attracts a lot of homebuyers,” says DiBuono.
