The neighborhood is less than 25 miles south of Baltimore, 20 miles northwest of Annapolis, and 30 miles northeast of Washington. Interstate 97 is the main route for trips through Maryland while Route 50 is the connector between Gambrills and the nation’s capital. Though national chains like Bonefish Grill and Chick-fil-A can be found along the neighborhood’s eastern edge, there are also plenty of local spots. Smashing Grapes serves vegan eats and pasta dishes like shrimp scampi, and Fuji’s menu includes sushi rolls and hibachi.
