West Dodge neighborhood is also home to Nebraska Methodist College, a private nursing and healthcare college. Roberts Park is a 20-acre park just outside the eastern boundary of West Dodge that borders the Little Papillion Creek and includes a playground, tennis courts, walking paths, a skate park and plenty of open green space.

Foodies offers fresh and handmade sandwiches, pizza and salads at their bright and cheerful eatery. Their menu includes gluten-free and vegetarian options as well.
For outdoor apparel, gear and work clothes you’ll find Duluth Trading Company on North 78th Street. Style & Encore carries gently used, fashion-forward women’s clothing, accessories and shoes.
Mediterranean Grocery offers authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean specialties including cheeses, spices, olive oils, sweets, meat and fresh produce and pita bread. Hy-Vee grocery store has a bakery, floral department, deli and pharmacy.
“It’s great to live so close to the Papio Trail. You’ll often see people kayaking in the Little Papillion Creek just having the time of their lives,” concludes Beers.
