It leads further west into the Siesta Valley Recreation Area. The Lafayette Reservoir is about 5 miles east and has 10 miles of trails that loop around the water, which allows fishing and boating.

Getting around Orinda

Route 24 runs along the neighborhood’s northwest side and provides access to the Bay Area. Orinda BART station, is just outside the neighborhood leads into San Francisco, Oakland and Walnut Creek. The Oakland International Airport is 18 miles away, and the Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation is just outside the neighborhood’s east side.
