Desert Falls '80s and '90s homes
Most homes in Desert Falls were built in the late-1980s through the mid-1990s and have Mediterranean and Spanish-inspired styling. In contrast to some other area golf club communities, Desert Falls includes condos and has sections allowing short-term and vacation rentals. "Desert Falls probably runs 40% and up for primary ownership," says Alan Abell, a Realtor and multimillion-dollar producer with Coldwell Banker Residential. The primary homes are ones where residents live year-round versus seasonally. Within Desert Falls, there are separate communities, such as The Links, The Courtyards and The Estates.
"For country club communities, you usually start with a price range, what you are looking for," Abell says. Desert Falls properties start at $350,000 and climb to $900,000. Some for $1.6 to $1.8 million date to the early 2000s and are in The Estates, which is set on a private lake.
Homeowners association fees are typically in the $600s to $700s. The HOA takes care of landscaping, pools and spas and maintenance of community areas, roads, exteriors and roofs. Also included are cable and internet and 24-hour-gated security. These HOA benefits can exceed those commonly found in other cities like La Quinta and Palm Springs.
The streets are wide and each home has a 2-3 car garage with mature trees and a front yard.
Find your dream home in the elegant condos of Desert Falls, where comfort meets style.
