Linworth Village is upscale and quiet
Nestled between the suburbs of Worthington and Dublin in north Columbus, Linworth Village is a quiet neighborhood with upscale homes near scenic parks. Bordered by Route 315, it’s a short drive to anywhere in the city.
Modern homes have a central Columbus location
Linworth Village features many modern homes built in the last three decades on small lots with attached garages, sidewalks and landscaped lawns. Many are tucked away in the area's natural landscape and feature large windows and sunrooms with refreshing, pastoral views. It also features the Sharon Hills subdivision where you’ll find a multitude of remodeled ranch-style homes built in the 1950s on lush, half-acre lots. The Village at Willow Brook, a community with spacious brick homes, vaulted ceilings and attached one- and two-car garages, offers condo living. Home prices typically range from $300,000 to upwards of $600,000. Homes in Linworth Village "come up for sale and go very fast. We get multiple offers as soon as they get listed,” Chris Reese, a broker at Metro II Realty, said. Only 15 minutes to everything in Columbus and close to shopping on Bethel Road, location is a major selling point. “It’s very convenient," she said.
The area has award-winning public schools
Students living in Linworth Village attend Gables Elementary School, Ridgeview Middle School and Centennial High School. Ridgeview Middle has won several awards for academic excellence and has been recognized by state officials for its “positive, predictable, safe and equitable” environment. Centennial High, ranked the No. 2 high school in Columbus by U.S. News and World Report, consistently achieves an “excellent” rating from the state department of education.
Parks, trails, and scenic views are just minutes away
With several parks and trail systems nearby, you’re never far from a nature walk or outdoor activities. Antrim Park, a 122-acre public park at the eastern edge of the neighborhood, is great for walking, running and biking. It offers access to the Olentangy Trail, a scenic pedestrian path that winds from Worthington to downtown Columbus along the banks of the Olentangy River. It also features a quarried lake that’s popular for fishing and stocked with Rainbow Trout annually. Antrim Park is “a wonderful oasis right in the middle of the city,” wrote one reviewer on Tripadvisor. The neighborhood is also minutes from Highbanks Metro Park, the most visited park in the Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks system, drawing around 1 million visitors every year.
International restaurants are popular
Head down to nearby Bethel Road for shops, international markets and a variety of restaurants specializing in ethnic cuisines. It’s also where you’ll find The Refectory, a French restaurant inside a renovated historic church that consistently ranks among the best eateries in Columbus. The neighborhood is about 5 miles from shopping at the Sun Center in Dublin, which features a Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, and 3 miles from Old Worthington, an historic town square and commercial district with boutique shops and restaurants.
Route 315 links the area to OSU and downtown attractions
Hop on Route 315, a major north-south thoroughfare, and you're only 5 miles from Ohio State University and Ohio Stadium and 10 miles from major attractions and nightlife in downtown Columbus, like the Arena District, German Village and the Columbus Museum of Art.
