Easy transportation is what has made Arden Gardens popular. “The proximity to highways and public transportation is huge because most people are commuting downtown or up to Rocklin for work,” says Costa. The neighborhood is just two minutes from Interstate 80, which provides quick access to Sacramento for a daily drive to work and destinations like the Bay Area or Lake Tahoe for a weekend trip. The Sacramento Regional Transit system has fixed bus routes that have frequent stops along Howe Avenue, Arden Way and many more main drags. The neighborhood is also just 22 minutes from the airport for those who want to take to the skies.

Arden Fair mall
Just to the west of Arden Gardens is the Arden Fair mall. This massive indoor/outdoor mall has everything from national brands to local boutiques. Enjoying Howe Park
Locals head to the massive Howe Park for plenty of fun in the Sacramento sun. With 38 acres of green space and plenty of amenities, there’s something for everyone, from a stocked fishing pond to walking paths twisting along a trickling creek to play areas for children.
