Centrally located neighborhood less than two miles from downtown
With views of the San Bernardino Mountains and just 1.5 miles from downtown, the Wilson neighborhood combines character and convenience. This established area is dotted with trees, and many residents walk to work in surrounding communities or the town center. “The number one reason people come to Wilson is the lower cost of living. It’s a nicer area for the price. It’s centrally located by downtown and the freeways, and it’s less crowded than downtown,” says Faviola Nieves, a broker and owner at Prosperity Real Estate & Associates with over 15 years of experience. “There’s a park with a swimming pool nearby, and the neighborhood is close to the mountains.”

A variety of designs in a midcentury neighborhood
Wilson has a variety of housing, including midcentury styles, Spanish-inspired houses and ranch-style homes. There’s also a mix of Spanish-style dwellings with stucco walls and red roof tiles. Homes can be well-kept or need a bit of love, and remodeled houses command the highest prices here. The neighborhood’s roads follow a grid pattern, and there’s a small greenway on Mountain View Avenue. "Inventory is low, and we're getting a lot of relocators from Riverside and other higher dollar areas," says Connie Olazaba, Realtor at EGA Homes with almost a decade of experience. Houses sell for a median price of $430,000 after 38 days on the market, although the entire price range begins around $250,000 and continues to $575,000.
