Jordan Park/Laurel Heights's focus is on education
With learning and innovation at its heart, Jordan Park/Laurel Heights is situated less than a mile east of Inner Richmond and south of the affluent Presidio Heights. The neighborhood was developed later than many of San Francisco’s well-established neighborhoods, so most of its homes weren’t built until at least the 1940s. As a result, the majority are contemporary-style homes and town houses, with a handful of Stick Victorian, Edwardian, and Italianate homes thrown into the mix.
