Most people usually get around the area with their cars, and Cambrian is near major California state routes 85 and 17. “Route 85 gets significantly congested during normal commuter times,” says Kraig Constantino, Realtor with Intero Real Estate Services. “Route 17 will take you to Interstate 280 and the San Tomas Expressway, both of which are fairly straight shots for getting to many of the tech jobs.” There are Valley Transportation Authority bus stops around the neighborhood, and Caltrain commuter trains and VTA light rail are at the San Jose Diridon Station in downtown. For air travel, the San José Mineta International Airport is about a 10-mile drive from Cambrian.
