Shadow Brook II is at risk for wildfires and flooding
Its proximity to the mountains puts the neighborhood at an increased risk for wildfires. To help protect residents from fires, Santa Clara County created a Community Wildfire Protection Plan in 2016 to further address safety in fire-prone areas. Some parts the neighborhood is in a flood zone because of its proximity to Alamitos Creek.
