Early 20th-century homes and new custom builds
The community’s prime residential area is located in the southern part of the neighborhood, whereas a more commercial and industrial sector resides within the northern portion. Along the residential streets are primarily mid-century and traditional ranch-styles and a few split-level homes. Most homes were built in the 1950s, although there are a few more significant, two-level modern and contemporary properties that were built in the past decade. Community events in Downtown San Leandro
Downtown San Leandro is about two miles north, where many annual events happen. The San Leandro Cherry Festival is the longest-standing city event, taking place in June.
