Travel by bus or car
Thanks to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), commuters can get around Old San Leandro by bus or train. When traveling by car, they can hop on State Route 85, which connects from Mountain View to San Jose, or State Route 112, which runs exclusively through San Leandro.

I give public transportation a high rating, but freeway congestion is terrible. Roads are crowded and full of potholes. People drive too fast. I don't feel safe riding a bicycle around town.
