Tranquility and proximity under the canopy of live oaks
Under the canopy of the iconic Spanish-draped live oak trees, Victory Heights is a residential neighborhood that is the halfway point between the vibrant areas of downtown Savannah and the scenic beaches along the coast. “Proximity is a big draw,” says Tom Oxnard, a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty. “Victory Heights is about a 10-minute drive to downtown; on the flip side, it’s 15 or 20 minutes to the beach.”

Summers spent at Grayson Stadium
During summer, residents head a mile west to Grayson Stadium to catch a Savannah Bananas baseball game. What was once an exhibition barnstorming baseball team has now become a national phenomenon, and residents of Victory Heights can enjoy the whacky games right in their backyard. The team employs a quirky set of rules to the classic sport, and players stepping up to the plate on stilts is a common sight. Visitors are constantly engaged as a foul ball caught by a fan counts as an out in the game. Beyond that, Grayson Stadium hosts fireworks displays and numerous events, such as the Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival.
