Proximity to Long Beach and living an active lifestyle at Signal Hill
Sitting atop a hillside, Signal Hill is a city tucked between Long Beach and California Heights. Originally a community known for oil drilling, to this day Signal Hill still has a functioning oil field, along with many public outdoor spaces, biking trails and above average schools. In addition, its proximity to the beach and relatively more affordable housing options compared to Long Beach have made Signal Hills a welcoming option for area residents. “Signal Hill is an enclave that is surrounded by Long Beach,” says Gia Silva, a Realtor and president at INTI Realty with 21 years of experience. “People definitely enjoy an active lifestyle here. The neighborhood is close to Hilltop Park and it’s in an area that has more incline and nice trails.”

Nearby, El Dorado Park offers comprehensive athletic facilities, fields, an archery range, a golf course and myriad trails along the park’s lakes and streams.
