Tucked in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, Temple City is a small city with a prominent Asian population in Los Angeles County. It’s easier to settle in and you don’t even have to speak English.”

A prominent Asian food scene along Las Tunas Drive
Las Tunas Drive is home to various Asian restaurants, such as Golden Deli, a popular Vietnamese eatery serving pho and curried rice. Phoenix Kitchen is a well-known local chain that offers street food fixtures such as Szechwan spicy wontons, marinated chicken feet and Hainan chicken, as well as specialty desserts like durian mochi and mango almond tofu. Seafood Palace, or Bi Feng Tang in Chinese, is an established restaurant chain that originated in China and is known for specialty seafood dishes like sauteed crab and honey walnut cream shrimp. Local youth leagues practice at Live Oak Park’s ball fields, and Temple City Park has an outdoor performing arts pavilion for concerts and shows.
