Most condos reside in the Timbers or Guier Woods communities. A three-bedroom condo can cost between $200,000 to $250,000. Trails across multiple parks
The tree-lined streets allow for accessible and shaded walking to nearby retail. Helmerich Park is right along the Arkansas River, a mile north of the neighborhood. Stop by with the family for an afternoon picnic. On hot summer days, the kids can cool off at the splash pad. Hunter Park is to the neighborhood’s southeast, where kids can let loose on the playground and competitors can play disc golf. Dog owners are frequent visitors to the on-site dog park, Biscuit Acres. Hikers and bikers can enjoy the 26 miles of trails within the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness, three miles west.

A+ Education through Jenks Public Schools
Students can attend Jenks Public Schools, rated the best in the state by Niche. Jenks East Elementary holds an A-minus and is a certified Leader in Me Lighthouse School. This accolade recognizes schools that achieved outstanding results with the Leader in Me model. Jenks East Intermediate and Jenks Middle School teach grades five through eight. Both hold A ratings on Niche. Jenks High School has an A-plus on Niche. Its successful football program has seen many alumnae go on to become National Football League (NFL) players. Additionally, students wanting to stay local after graduation can enroll at Oral Roberts University. The Christian school is home to 4,000 students and provides 70 undergraduate programs.

Accessible highways and Tulsa Transit bus stops
Those who have to go downtown can hop on Riverside Parkway. From there, it’s only a 9-mile drive. Those without vehicles have several Tulsa Transit bus stops scattered throughout the area. Interstate 44 sits to the north of the area and provides connections to Oklahoma City and Springfield, Missouri. Tres Amigos Mexican Grill is a crowd-pleaser for its daily happy hours and authentic Mexican flavors.Weekly groceries can be bought at Walmart Neighborhood Market or Whole Foods Market. The River Spirit Casino Resort houses the 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar, a popular spot for local nightlife. “The Casino has bands perform every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They have a concert venue with great performances,” Patel says. Notable artists that have performed include Ludacris and Diana Ross. Outside of artists, there are also comedians and kickboxing events.
