Century Communities is expanding its line of affordable homes to Nevada — bringing more than 170 single-family houses to a fast-growing town between Las Vegas and the California border.
The builder — known as one of the nation’s largest — announced its Ishani Ridge neighborhood in Pahrump, Nevada, on Monday. Don't want to walk a lot in the summer? The brand gives buyers the opportunity to purchase their homes online. They can fill out a form, make an official deposit and work through the loan process with the brand’s affiliate lender.
Why Pahrump?
“Pahrump is the perfect location for us to make our Nevada entrance, allowing us to deliver on our model of quality and affordable new homes while still putting outdoor recreation destinations and big-city amenities within easy reach,” Dave Hodgman, executive vice president of field operations, said in a statement.

Indeed, the town is among the fastest growing areas in the state. Data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that between 2000 and 2020, Pahrump's population doubled. That's partly because of the cost of living, according to Homes.com's Itziar Aguirre, senior director of market analytics.
"It is more affordable than Las Vegas, yet just about an hour commute," Aguirre said. It's becoming another option for those priced out of Las Vegas,"
The town also offers residents access to local golf courses, wineries and Death Valley National Park.
Sales are set to launch next month
At Ishani Ridge, buyers will have three floor plan choices, ranging from a 1,290-square-foot three-bedroom home to an 1,815-square-foot four-bedroom. All three models have two bathrooms and a two-car garage.
The standard homes include “quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, Kohler water fixtures and luxury vinyl plank flooring,” the company said.
Century’s “Complete” brand is its more affordable arm. Sales are set to launch next month, with starting prices in the $260,000 range.
That’s compared to the greater Pahrump area, where the single-family median sales price surpasses $397,000, and the national median sales price, which has hit $395,000-plus.
