Real estate brokerage Coldwell Banker Warburg said it added five new agents who will strengthen the company's presence in New York City.

One agent — Albert Safdie — is an avid traveler who speaks Italian, French and Portuguese. Safdie, a former agent for Bond New York, sells a range of homes across the Big Apple. He is most recently credited with selling one of Frank Lloyd Wright's private residences — Tirranna in New Canaan, Connecticut — for $6 million.

The brokerage also hired Gina Conzo, who is known for selling luxury condominium and co-op units in downtown Manhattan. Conzo previously worked for Elegran Real Estate.

Coldwell Banker Warburg is a newer brokerage that hit New York in January 2022 when Coldwell Banker bought Warburg Realty. At the time, Warburg was one of Manhattan's oldest residential real estate firms, having first opened its doors in 1896.

Coldwell Banker now has nearly 100,000 employees across about 3,000 offices in 40 countries and territories. Coldwell Banker's parent company is Anywhere Real Estate, which also owns Century 21, Corcoran and Sotheby's International.

“We’ve brought on an incredible group of agents who are not only talented, but aligned with our culture of collaboration, excellence, and drive,” Kevelyn Guzman, regional vice president, said in a statement.

New hires include 'Rogue Ballerina'

Guzman said each of the new hires comes to the real estate industry from a unique background. Jarrod Duncan, for example, is a former commercial bank lender from Tennessee who has moved to New York City. He earned a license to sell real estate in the Volunteer State in 2012.

Georgina Pazcoguin is a real estate agent by day and a ballet dancer by night. The dance world knows Pazcoguin as "The Rogue Ballerina." She's also the author of the memoir "Swan Dive: The Making of a Rogue Ballerina."

Veronique Perrin was born in France but has lived in New York City for more than 35 years. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, Perrin owned a home staging business.

New York City has seen a flurry of real estate agents joining new employers this year. To name just two, Jessica Cohen left Douglas Elliman to join Brown Harris Stevens. Kirsten "K.J." Jordan, the first woman to join the cast of Bravo network's "Million Dollar Listing New York," also left Elliman to join Corcoran Group.
