A Houston-based homebuilder is bolstering its presence in the fast-growing city of Buckeye, Arizona, with more than 100 new homes.
On Oct. 20, David Weekley Homes opened sales for its Skyline at Verrado Regent Hills, a 101-home gated community in Buckeye. Skyline joins Overlook, Alta and Victory as other developments that David Weekley is actively selling in Regent Hills. Residents will have access to amenities such as a swimming pool, daybeds, fire pits, outdoor grilling areas, and more.
David Weekley is offering five floor plans at Skyline, ranging from 1,980 to 2,780 square feet.
Prices for homes in Skyline will range from $650,000 to $720,000, according to David Weekley's community page on Homes.com. That price point is above Buckeye's median single-family sale price of $409,990 and average home value of $449,044, according to Homes.com data.
The builder is expected to open its model home called Saltbrush in December that will be open for daily tours.
Regent Hills is part of the larger Verrado master-planned community, which spans over 8,000 acres and features commercial shopping districts and thousands of residents. Large builders, such as Taylor Morrison, Richmond American Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Landsea Homes, and others, also have a presence within Verrado.
Mark Weber, David Weekley's division president of Phoenix, said Skyline's 101 homes add to Buckeye's "growth and energy" in an emailed statement to Homes.com.
Buckeye led all Phoenix neighborhoods with 278 new for-sale listings added during September, according to Homes.com data.
Sales add to growing Phoenix home activity
Skyline builds on David Weekley's expanding presence across Phoenix.
The builder recently opened sales at the Soleo master-planned community in San Tan Valley, where it plans nearly 200 new homes.
In nearby Gilbert, David Weekley scooped up more than 42 acres that Weber previously said is for new planned community called "Somerset."
"We've been encouraged by the continued resilience of the Phoenix market, with traffic levels reflecting relatively normal seasonal patterns," Weber previously told Homes.com.
David Weekley is the nation's No. 16 builder, with 6,311 total closings in 2024, according to Builder Magazine.
