A longtime U.S. homebuilder has promoted Jason Finch to president of a newly created South region.

Finch will direct Fischer Homes' operations across Atlanta; northern Kentucky; Louisville, Kentucky; Panama City Beach, Florida; and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Fischer, based in Erlanger, Kentucky, sold 3,019 homes last year, ranking it as the 31st-largest U.S. homebuilder, according to Builder magazine. Fischer, founded in 1980, said it has more than 750 employees and built about 43,000 homes over the past 45 years.

The new role marks Finch's third promotion at Fischer since joining the homebuilder in 2013 as sales manager for the lifestyle division. In 2015, he became division manager and then was elevated to president of the company's Northern Kentucky division in 2019.

Northern Kentucky won the company's "Division of the Year” award in 2019 and 2023 based on volume, customer satisfaction and earnings, Fischer said.

"Jason’s leadership has been instrumental in driving our growth and culture over the past decade," CEO Tim McMahon said in a statement.

Finch began his career in outside sales before joining Centex Homes. He graduated from the University of Tennessee.
