Rick Moeser, a veteran Florida-based residential broker who sold fashion designer Gianni Versace’s Miami Beach estate, joined Premier Estate Properties to work on the sales team for a luxury condo-hotel in the Bahamas.

Moeser has 37 years of experience at Sotheby’s, Christie’s International Real Estate and most recently Douglas Elliman. Aside from the Versace mansion, he is known for selling entrepreneur John Kluge’s Palm Beach, Florida, compound and Princess Margaret’s residence in Mustique, among other luxury properties in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

After management positions with the major residential brokerages, Moeser said he wanted to get back to direct sales. He'll work out of Boca Raton, Florida-based Premier's Palm Beach office on Worth Avenue.

"Management is its own animal," he said in an interview. "After 37-plus years, I figured it was time to allow myself to do just what I wanted."

Moeser will work with prospective buyers at The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Residences, Bahamas on Paradise Island. The development's 67 condos come fully furnished, and owners can rent the units as hotel rooms when they aren't living there. Prices for homes at the project start at $7.3 million.

Two Roads Development and Access Real Estate are building the project. The partnership broke ground in January, and the luxury property is scheduled to open in 2028.

Moeser said he will market the condo-hotel to prospective buyers in the U.S., Canada and England. He'll also handle separate sales listings.

When he isn't selling real estate, Moeser is at the beach, on a ski slope or hiking or biking somewhere in the mountains. He loves the frequent travel on a personal level, and it's also handy for bumping into potential clients.

"It all feeds into my business," he said.
