The Washington, D.C., residential real estate landscape has shifted again.
Broker Donna Evers, a mainstay of the region’s luxury residential market, has joined TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, the firm announced Thursday. Evers comes from Long & Foster, where she served in a management role after her eponymous team, Evers & Co. Real Estate, was acquired.
"TTR Sotheby's International Realty represents everything I've always valued in real estate — ethics, professionalism, and excellence in service," Evers said in a statement. "Joining this firm allows me to deliver even more value to my clients through their world-class marketing platform and international reach."
The move comes just a week after the brokerage was part of another major shakeup in the D.C.-area’s real estate market: HRLS Partners, one of the region’s most prolific luxury real estate teams, joined the TTR team.
More than that, the D.C. luxury and ultraluxury housing markets have been hot, and TTR agents have played a role in many, if not most, of the biggest transactions. In fact, in the last year or so, TTR teams have been behind the region’s five priciest deals, four of which were for $20 million or more.
The TTR team said activity has brought buyers and sellers in need of greater global and local exposure. Now, they expect Evers will help meet that demand.
"Donna Evers is a legend in Washington real estate," Mark Lowham, CEO and managing partner of TTR, said in a statement. "She has built a career defined by trust, results, and visionary leadership. We are honored to welcome her to our firm."
