A Texas homebuilder has opened a gated development in Northeast Florida, one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the nation.

LGI Homes said Jennings Farm off Florida Highway 21 in Middleburg, southeast of Jacksonville, has three-, four- and five-bedroom houses. Prices start at nearly $384,000, and LGI will pay closing costs, according to the builder's website.

The Jacksonville region added nearly 37,000 residents between 2022 and 2023, making it the 12th-fastest-growing metropolitan area in the U.S., according to the latest data from the U.S. Census.
