Kirsten "KJ" Jordan, who spent years as the top-selling real estate agent at New York's Douglas Elliman, has left the brokerage and joined The Corcoran Group.

Jordan confirmed the move on social media.

Jordan is most known in New York City as a luxury agent who has "accumulated $1 billion in lifetime sales volume," Corcoran Group said in a statement. Jordan's departure marks the second high-profile woman broker to leave Elliman this year.

Outside New York, Jordan is perhaps most recognized as a reality television star. In 2020, she was the first woman to join the cast of "Million Dollar Listing New York," a Bravo TV show that depicts how real estate agents juggle their personal lives with working in a major market. The show aired between 2012 and 2021.

Jordan's most recent work includes selling penthouse units in Queens and Brooklyn for $4.8 million and $2.6 million, respectively, Corcoran said in a statement. She also recently sold a Manhattan condominium unit for $10 million and a co-op property at 580 Park Ave. in Manhattan for more than $7 million, the firm said.

Jordan has made 122 sales in the past five years, with properties selling for an average $1.7 million, according to Homes.com data.

Jordan will "elevate her business to even greater heights" now that she's part of Corcoran, the firm's CEO, Pamela Liebman, said in a statement.

"She's widely recognized as a standout in the industry, thanks to her deep market expertise and unwavering commitment to her clients," Liebman said.

Team to join Jordan at Corcoran

Jordan is bringing other agents from her team — Lindsay Coleman, Isabella Oledzka, Amy Solomon and Thomas Malloy — to Corcoran. The agents will be based in Corcoran's East Side office.

Jordan leaves Elliman nearly a year after the brokerage was shaken by allegations of sexual misconduct among its star agents, brothers Tal and Oren Alexander, and the subsequent departure of two senior leaders.

Jessica Cohen, another top-producing New York broker, announced her departure from Elliman earlier this month. She joined Brown Harris Stevens after spending 22 years with Elliman. Dennis Mangone left the brokerage last month to join Compass, he announced on social media, while Lisa Simonsen, joined BHS in August.
