Richmond American Homes continues its building push across Phoenix with the opening of a new community.
Richmond American, a subsidiary of Sekisui House U.S., held a grand opening for the 178-home Seasons at Baker Farms community earlier this month in Phoenix.
As of Nov. 13, Richmond American has sold two homes within the community and has four additional homes that will be ready to move in by December, according to the builder's website.
Richmond American has four floor plans for Seasons at Baker Farms that are a mix of one-story and two-story homes. Prices for the ranch-style homes range from nearly $485,000 up to $538,000, according to the builder's website.
Those prices fall below the average value for homes across Phoenix. Homes.com data found the average value to be $569,404 as of November.
Homes range in size from 1,840 to 2,630 square feet and offer four to five bedrooms, two and a half to three bathrooms, and two-car garages.
Residents will have a gated entrance to the community and access to amenities such as an on-site splash pad, a picnic and barbecue area, trails, and playgrounds.
Builder plans expansion in nearby communities
Seasons at Baker Farms is situated between the cities of Glendale and Tolleson, located across the street from Desert Sky Mall.
Richmond American opened a 92-home community in nearby Estrella in September and eyes additional openings within the master-planned community before the end of the year.
Sekisui House has owned Richmond American since 2024 after completing a $4.9 billion purchase of its holding company, M.D.C. Holdings. It ranks as the nation's sixth-largest homebuilder based on 14,860 total closings in 2024, according to Builder Magazine.
