A 30-agent Houston real estate team looking to grow its platform has joined The Real Brokerage, one of the nation's largest residential firms.

The Legacy Collective, headed by Patrick Winsey, averages more than 500 home sales a year with an annual volume topping $100 million, according to Real.

Winsey and his wife, Jemila, founded the firm nearly a decade ago. Legacy, previously affiliated with ERA Real Estate, was formerly known as Legacy Living Real Estate.

“This move puts our brokerage on steroids,” Winsey said in a statement.

That's because, he said, "It allows us to take everything we already do well in terms of mentorship, coaching and agent development, while providing our agents with an unmatched technology platform, healthcare offerings and stock incentives – everything they not only want but need to thrive."

Publicly held Real, based in Miami, ranks as the fifth-largest U.S. brokerage with $42.44 billion in sales volume last year, according to industry tracker RealTrends. The brokerage, with more than 27,000 agents, operates in all 50 U.S. states and Canada.

Winsey's team is an ideal fit for Real, according to CEO Tamir Poleg.

"He’s built a culture of empowerment that aligns perfectly with Real’s vision," Poleg said in the statement.
