Denver’s LUX Real Estate Co. ERA Powered is expanding to serve Vail’s coveted housing market, rebranding its recent acquisition of Vail Real Estate Center as LUX Vail.

“This expansion is a milestone for us,” said Emily Duke, owner of LUX Real Estate Co. ERA Powered. “By establishing LUX Vail, we’re bridging Denver’s urban luxury with Vail’s alpine lifestyle. It means our agents and clients now have access to two of Colorado’s most sought-after markets under one brand.”

Duke founded LUX in 2014 in the affluent Cherry Creek North neighborhood and spent the next 10 years building a firm that has racked up hundreds of millions of dollars in sales, attracted talented agents and built a collaborative culture.

“In 2024, we affiliated with ERA Real Estate to expand strategically while maintaining the independence and sophistication of our boutique brand,” Duke said.

ERA's international reach and resources can now be brought to bear on a new local channel through LUX Vail.

“Denver and Vail aren’t separate silos — they’re complementary lifestyle destinations,” Duke said.

Before joining the LUX brand, former owners of Vail Real Estate Center, Gil Fancher and Ted Steers, navigated Vail’s market for 12 years.

“Aligning with them feels less like an acquisition and more like a natural partnership,” Duke said. “To bring their legacy forward as LUX Vail is an honor — and it energizes us to combine their deep local roots with the tools, resources and global connections we bring.”

Going forward, Duke said LUX will continue looking for opportunities to expand its reach in other local markets where it can add value.
