Adam Widener

Adam Widener is a graduate of the Steven M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration where he concentrated his studies in both real estate and finance. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Adam worked as a real estate investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, where he advised both public and private clients as well as real estate investment trusts. There he consulted opportunity funds and sovereign wealth funds on strategic and financial alternatives related to buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, portfolio acquisitions/dispositions as well as equity and debt financings. After Lehman Brothers, Adam went on to work at a real estate dedicated investment management firm in New York City where he covered the US residential industry.

Adam uses his analytical prowess and passion for client services to supply a diversified and knowledgeable approach to investing in real estate. His attention to detail, understanding of qualitative and quantitative metrics and loyalty to his clients allows him to deliver an exceptional advisory service in investments, sales, and new development.

Born and raised in the suburbs of New York, Adam has considered Manhattan his home since early childhood where he grew an affinity for architecture, construction, and design. Adam currently resides in the West Village and at his home in the Village of Southampton. He enjoys spending his time on many charities and organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Gods Love We Deliver, UNICEF and Shelter Chic.
