Amanda helped us find a cottage on Lake Erie. It is a retreat for us from Hudson, for out-of-the-office working and away-from-home relaxing.
My wife's and my work schedules didn't allow us to look together, but Amanda was happy to show us places separately. On the way to our final selection, Amanda helped us think through a variety of different options with different plusses and minuses, pointing out things we hadn't seen that should be kept in mind in our decision process.
The place we chose had been on the market for some time. We worried about that long history without a buyer, but Amanda answered all our questions and assured us the comparable sales made this look like a good buy. We ended up giving the seller's reduced list price, with the seller covering a substantial chunk of the closing costs. Amanda helped us at each step to that point, in the search, in negotiations, and in finding three different inspectors (whole house, roof, and hillside erosion) far from Hudson. Then the bank's appraisal came in substantially ABOVE what we paid for the house.
If you're looking in NE Ohio, Amanda is professional and personable. We are more than happy clients. We have become friends.

We were out of state when we placed our home for sale with Amanda. She took total control of opening up our home and preparing it for showing. Typically we are out of the state for up to 6 months. Within 2 weeks Amanda had showings of our home and MLS listings. In a nutshell, there are two different kinds of realtors. Realtors I like working with, and realtors I don’t. Amanda has been fabulous from beginning to end. From the day we met her, we knew she would be awesome to work with. Her attention to our needs, her confidence and guidance throughout each hiccup, and her positive and witty personality made the process feel like we were working with a trustworthy friend.

We were buying a home from out of state so we relied on her expertise quite heavily, and she always was responsive to our questions and concerns...every time! The first weekend we met, we flew into town to scope out some homes, and she had a three ring binder filled with information along with bottles of water and a generous smile to welcome us. Soon, we found our dream home. Unfortunately, it fell through, and we had to start the process a second time due to disclaimer issues with the seller. She did not blink an eye and was right there for us ready to start all over. She quickly went into action and we were able to find another home immediately. Again, she was making sure each step went as smoothly as possible by making contact and phone calls as necessary until the day we signed on the dotted line.

We have gotten to know Amanda and her family throughout our process. Being new to the area, Amanda has taken it upon herself to give us insight to local attractions, customary traditions, and reputable businesses.
