Barbara Wilding

Throughout Barbara’s career in real estate, she has helped clients buy, sell, and rent homes across the spectrum, from Upper East Side Co-ops, Tribeca Condos, to Brooklyn Brownstones. Barbara has a unique professional perspective that combines her extensive previous career in the world of finance, representing top investment banks and private equity firms, with her comprehensive knowledge of the New York real estate market. She has developed exceptional client service skills as a committed advisor and the invaluable negotiation experience that leads to closing successful deals and maximizing value for clients.

Barbara found her own dream home 19 years ago, when she moved to Brooklyn Heights. She lives with her husband and two boys in an historic carriage house that she completely renovated. That process was instrumental in Barbara’s decision to work in real estate and help others find the right home and make the right deal with a confident guidance that makes an often-stressful process as smooth and easy as possible.

She has a strong commitment to her Brooklyn community and is very engaged in her boys’ school. She is involved with and on committees/boards for many community organizations and not-for- profits including The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, The Brooklyn Kindergarten Society, The Brooklyn Heights Garden Club, Good Shepherd Services, and the Brooklyn Heights Association, among others.

Barbara founded Team Wilding Woods with partner Jillian Woods, to bring their combined skill sets, energy, and attention to detail to work for their clients to provide an unparalleled level of service. They have expanded the team as their business has grown exponentially and couldn't be prouder of the dynamic group of professionals they have brought together. Team Wilding Woods are focused on delivering results and their clients value their knowledge and enthusiasm for a project; all delivered with the utmost professionalism and discretion.

Barbara is a third generation New Yorker who earned a BA with honors from American University in Washington, DC, and studied international politics at The University of London in the UK before returning to New York. Married to a Brit and with a second home in the UK, Barbara spends significant time in Europe and has extensive experience helping expats find their perfect homes in New York.
