London born Ben Morahan entered the world of real estate over 20 years ago in his adopted hometown of Malibu. After personally buying, selling, and developing properties of his own, he decided to branch out to represent others with their real estate dreams. In that time, he was both a founding member of Compass Malibu, and the co-owner of luxury leasing brand Malibu Rents.
Ben came to the States, armed with a BA in Architecture from Bristol University, and immediately created a Los Angeles based design and construction firm, which handled high profile client’s residential real estate projects. Those connections eventually led him into the world of film and advertising, where he spent two decades as a successful Production Designer.
Now established in the real estate markets of the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara, Ben is the current MLS chairman and President-elect of the Santa Ynez Valley Association of Realtors. With over a dozen recent sales, Ben brings a substantial knowledge of construction, design, and development to each project. He approaches each client and transaction with the upmost discretion and integrity to make buying and selling a home as enjoyable and effortless as possible.
Ben lives in a little corner of the Santa Ynez Valley with his wife, toddler son, and their two ridgebacks.
