About Bob
Drawing on a wealth of experience and knowledge over a thirty-eight-year career (thirteen with Daum Commercial Real Estate in Downtown Los Angeles and twenty-five years with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage) Bob offers his clients services in such areas as the sale and leasing of commercial/industrial properties, multi-family investment properties, office/retail and single-family homes. He is well versed in all facets of the transaction while working towards the best interests of his clients with the goal of making the process as seamless as possible.
Bob understands and appreciates the importance of trust, integrity, consistency, patience, hard work and dependability in how he conducts his Real Estate business and personal life.
After his time with Daum, Bob decided to bring his commercial expertise and come back to the Hancock Park/Windsor Square areas; partnering with his mother Cookie Day in her established residential Real Estate practice based in Larchmont Village. Adept in technology and social media he brought an already thriving business to another level. Growing up in Windsor Square, Bob has a keen sense of the ins and outs of the Hancock/ Windsor Square neighborhoods and overall, Los Angeles area. “Coming back to the old neighborhood representing these classic homes was very appealing to me and proved to be a perfect fit.” Before his mother’s passing, she passed on an important bit of advice “Your reputation is everything in this business and in the community you work.”
Bob is a fourth generation Angeleno born and raised in Hancock Park/Windsor Square three blocks from his Larchmont Village office. His father’s home where he was born and raised, was built by his father in 1919 two blocks from Larchmont Village at 300 S. Lucerne Blvd. Bob’s great grandfather Charles E. Day arrived in Los Angeles in 1879 and settled on Bunker Hill in Downtown Los Angeles. He worked in the Real Estate business and opened the first Music Store in Los Angeles on Spring Street.
Bob currently resides in the City of Burbank with his wife Monica of twenty-six years and their two children Rachel 27 years of age and Natalie 21.
