We met Brad more than a decade ago when my husband and I were looking for our first house together. Fast forward to 2023, Brad continues to be our agent for our real estate transactions. Brad has assisted us in both buying and selling, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Brad has deep knowledge of the market, and he always diligently does his research and analysis. Regardless of the side of transaction you are on, Brad has an eye for buying and for selling, paying attention to details such as what motivates a seller, and what sells, ranging from aesthetics to the practical. He knows people in the industry well, and is a wealth of resources. Throughout the years, he has given us thoughtful and keen advice, whether it’s about how we structure an offer, negotiating what is important to us, or how we navigate through multiple offers. Generous as he is, he has even allowed us to pick his brain on our home remodeling projects.

Posting my review here (as well as Zillow). Brad made selling our home pleasant (which we did not expect!), seamless, and easy as possible! We screened 4+ highly rated agents in the area and were so happy that we chose to work with Brad. While Brad has many strengths, I'll highlight a few that were key for us:

1) COMMUNICATION. Brad immediately adapted to our preferences for texts and calls vs emails (though he would text us to let us know to check our inboxes when necessary which I appreciated!). We *never* had to wait for a response. In fact, Brad consistently communicated before each step so we never felt like we had to chase down answers. He always provided the right amount of information and provided clear instructions.
2) STRATEGIC AND ORGANIZED. Throughout the process, Brad would let us know the status, what was a priority, what decisions had to be made (and weigh options), and what to expect. My husband and I appreciated his management of the selling process and never had to micromanage or worry that anything would be missed.
3) INTEGRITY, RELIABILITY, & KINDNESS. Brad has a way of making anyone feel at ease. We never felt uncomfortable asking questions or sharing our honest opinions. We fully trusted Brad with all aspects of the listing/sales process. This was especially important to us as we would be moving back to CA before all of the work was done on the house prior to bringing it to market.

I honestly can't think of any cons. Any issues encountered (we had a sewer repair and a painting fiasco for instance) were expertly handled by Brad.

Rarely do I write glowing reviews...If you're doing research on agents, stop and call Brad now :)

Highly recommended! We recently worked with Brad to sell our home in Capitol Hill. Brad is great! I was casually looking at condos with a plan to buy in 3-4 months. We had toured a couple of buildings, just so I could see the layouts, and understand the market. Brad txtd me a couple of weeks later saying that a 2-BR in the building I liked had just come down by $50K, and I should see it immediately. From seeing the apartment, to putting in an offer, and having it accepted was 3 hours! Brad has a lot of contacts in the city, and was able to recommend a mortgage broker, and a title company. It was a seamless process, with Brad just texting the mortgage broker the offer details while we were standing in the condo. Talk about full service! Brad was recommended to me by a friend, and I would recommend him to anyone. He's the best!

If you are looking to buy or sell your home, I would hands down recommend Brad Hinckley in a heartbeat. My husband and I have used other agents in the past and it never seemed to be enjoyable so I assumed that the whole buying/selling process is supposed to be hard/stressful/prolonged. Therefore, before purchasing our next home, we said we are going to research an agent that fits what we want and need so that it can be 'better'. We met with Brad (while we were not in the market to purchase a home) and talked to him about our plans to purchase a home in the coming future as we would like to grow our family, things that we need, and understand his thoughts on the market. He was very professional, understood that we were not in the market right now and was able to speak to everything we asked honestly.

After that meeting, we never received unwanted phone calls, emails, etc on if we are ready to buy. Instead, it was us asking him about economics, the market, and thoughts on various things related to real estate and he always responded.

Fast forward a year, we called Brad and told him we found a house that we are interested in and would like to see it. He made time for us immediately (that same day), was able to find out additional information about the home that we didn't even consider, contacted the selling agent, etc. And that was all before the weekend was over for the house's first open house. We decided to make an offer on the house but during that whole process of getting preapproved, inspection, thinking of the best offer to provide, etc, Brad did not ever make us feel pressured, helped set up all the various contacts for repairs and inspection, was at the inspections, contacted the selling agent whenever we had a question and signing the papers. I don't know how else to say this but I never had any stress along the way. Everything, and I mean everything that was involved during the buying process was stress-free and seamless. (Only stress that I felt was getting all my documents in order.)

We had such a great experience with Brad that we decided to also sell our home with him. And that process was also the most seamless process ever!

I have already told all my family and friends about my experience with Brad that they have personally asked for my agents name. And they all know that I would not recommend anything unless it is the best and Brad is the best!!!

We had reached out to Brad in November of 2018 during our search for a selling agent that could guide us through the sell of our house. We chose Brad as our agent as he was very responsive from the get go and always came to every meeting prepared with documentation and knowledgeable guidance to every question or concern we had. Due to some business that we had to take care of, we decided to delay selling our house until a few months later - Brad was patient with us and continued to be available any moment we needed something.
