Brentney Moore - Kozuch

Brentney is an Associate Broker at Story House Real Estate and works within the Charlottesville, VA market and the surrounding counties. She is a graduate of James Madison University where she played Women’s Basketball and majored in Kinesiology with a Minor in Business. Throughout her life, Brentney has always enjoyed helping others whether through volunteering with youth sports, giving back to non-profits to now helping others find a place to call home. She has such a passion for helping her clients achieve the dream of home ownership and above all loves the lasting relationship she makes with them. Purchasing a home can seem daunting and overwhelming, but she loves putting her clients at ease and making the process as smooth as possible and, above all, fun! She takes continuing her education seriously so she can advocate the best for her clients. Her designations include the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX). She is the Chair of the Young Professionals Network (YPN). She has also been recognized by the community and awarded the winner of Best of C-VILLE Real Estate Agent (2023) and The Charlottesville’s Finest award (2022, 2023 & 2024). Brentney has built a reputation for her savvy negotiations, uncompromising integrity, and love for her clients and community.


Outside of real estate:

Brentney has always had such a love for sports - playing and watching (Go Hoos!) She loves OrangeTheory Fitness and enjoys running the trails through her neighborhood in Forest Lakes! This has motivated her to participate in local races and she looks forward to challenging herself every year! This year, she is setting a goal to start tennis lessons through her neighborhood tennis club!
Brentney also enjoys giving back to her community, from volunteering her time to help with building ramps for community members in need through AHIP (Albemarle Housing Improvement), raising money for the SPCA through the annual Bow-Wow-Walk, and one of her favorites, buying Christmas presents for children in need through the Salvation Army Angel Tree to name a few. Brentney feels giving back to where you live and to the people who live here really fills her cup and she takes pride in helping others.
Brentney’s whole world has recently changed as she became a mother to her baby girl, Grey in September 2023 and then to her son, Killian in October 2024. She has really entered her Mom Era and thrives at showing her kids the importance of health and hard work. She is married to her husband, Brian who works at UVA. They are both loving parenthood and excited for this new chapter in their life. They also have two mini Aussiedoodles, Kate and Beth, who love the hiking trails around Charlottesville!
