About Brian
After graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Idaho in 1988, Brian started with Jack White Real Estate Company (previously called Vista Real Estate) in July of 1990. Brian has enjoyed 30 years with this same real estate company, which is practically unheard of in the real estate industry.
Starting as a residential realtor and then making a learned progression into analyzing small multi-unit properties and then larger multi-unit buildings and commercial opportunities, Brian has now successfully closed over 1,500 real estate transactions. Brian’s sales include residential, multi-unit, warehouse, commercial office buildings and numerous hotels. In addition, Brian and his wife Kandy have purchased and rehabbed/developed over 80 properties in the Anchorage and Eagle River area including a 172-tenant mobile home park and a 31-unit hotel. Brian's vast experience as both a realtor and owner of real estate has earned him the reputation of not only being savvy at negotiating but having considerable knowledge of their local market including investors, builders, lenders, neighborhoods, soils, special considerations for arctic construction and most importantly values.
Wrap all of the above with ethics that are calculated in every decision he makes and a work ethic that is nearly untouchable and you have an experienced resource that you can trust wherever your real estate needs take you.
Brian is an ex-wrestler/karate student who found his love for running in the year 2000. Roughly 40 Marathons and Triathlons later, (including the famed Iron Man, Crow Pass and Escape from Alcatraz), Brian still enjoys being competitive - winning the 31.5-mile trail race called “SmithRock” in Central Oregon in 2019 for his age group. Having celebrated their 25th. wedding anniversary in 2019, Brian and Kandy maintain a fabulous relationship with their three kids Michael, Kaleb and Bridget and their two grandchildren, Nathan and Quinn.
