Carol Buchanan

Carol Buchanan Bio Carol Buchanan brings to the Green Team a strong background in real estate and in client service and satisfaction. Her career in real estate began in the administrative side. Carol worked for a large, new-construction home site where she was involved in all aspects of the construction and selling process. As a result, she literally learned the business from the ground up. The quality of the training she gained from that position has carried her throughout her career.

Carol is an Associate Broker who has earned many designations. These include GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute); CRS (Certified Relocation Specialist); ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), and SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource). She has been honored with many awards over the years. However, the “Hudson Valley Five Star Professionals Award” is most special. That award is granted to professionals based on integrity, overall excellence in their field and superior customer service. And, only 5% of Realtors win the award.

Prior to entering the real estate profession, Carol earned an Associates Degree in Business Management, and spent time in the corporate world. She worked for a national insurance company, and as a major events coordinator for another major corporation. Her work ethic began there and carries through to this day. Despite her successes in those positions, it is in real estate that Carol found her calling.

Carol has lived in Warwick for most of her life. She and husband Tom are the very proud parents of 3 married children and 7 wonderful grandchildren. In addition, Carol is on the Board of Directors for the Lions Club of Warwick. And somehow she finds time to drive for Meals on Wheels.
