Starting her career as a teacher of young children, along with years spent as a community volunteer with several of Austin’s non-profits, Carol excelled in educating, relationship building, and skillful planning. She soon developed an interest in real estate and quickly began receiving many industry accolades and awards. She earned her Brokers License, her Certified Residential Specialist designation, and her Certified Negotiation Specialist designation to add to her skills.
Carol will tell you that one of most her best achievements has been the maintaining of relationships and friendships that she built with her clients. She genuinely listens to her clients and ensures that she is taking care of their individual needs and preferences. She focuses on helping her clients find the perfect location, neighborhood, and schools and will network and negotiate for her clients until they are satisfied and happy with their purchase. She has a similar approach for clients who are selling their homes, providing expert analysis on the location, neighborhood, and recent market reports. She also has a network of other real estate professionals and vendors to call upon when needed.
When Carol is not selling and listing homes, she is usually traveling with her husband Steve, and with friends. Trips to Italy are her favorite, and recently they have discovered the pleasures of River Cruising. Quiet and fun times at the family ranch are spent reading and playing with the grandchildren, whether riding in the jeep, fishing, or just relaxing. She is a lifetime learner, attending classes at the University of Texas with the Osher Lifetime Learning programs, and she has years of volunteering with the Junior League of Austin, Zeta Tau Alpha, church activities, and everything-sports with her grandchildren.
