About Casey

Though he spent the first part of his life in Redondo Beach, California, where he was an avid surfer, Casey Smith is deeply rooted in Richmond. After moving here with his family when he was 15, he discovered that Virginia Beach wasn't too far, and the James River has a lot to offer. He graduated from Douglas Freeman High School and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Casey purchased his first home in Fulton Hill shortly after graduating from VCU, and thus began his passion for the real estate business. With over 19 years as a realtor, Casey doesn’t just enjoy finding the right home for his clients, but also forming a relationship that continues beyond the closing date.

He can also be found coaching boys Varsity soccer at The Steward School, playing on one of many adult soccer leagues, trying the newest coffee spot, remodeling homes in the city, and taking advantage of The James River Park Systems by either biking on the trails or swimming in the James River. He resides in the Northside with his wife and their two children, Lena and Luca. He still holds on to his West Coast roots, but Casey has happily embraced Richmond as his home.
