Charles Baarcke

Born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Charles is nearing 15 years in the Charleston area real estate brokerage business and practices general residential brokerage sales in downtown Charleston, Mt Pleasant, Daniel Island, West Ashley, James Island, and the area beaches of Sullivans Island, Isle of Palms, and Wild Dunes. Charles collaborates with buyers and sellers of residential properties as well as investors of both residential and commercial assets.

Charles is well versed in real estate analysis and the various economic metrics utilized to assess real estate opportunities.

Charles and his wife Mary Cutler Baarcke are both natives of Charleston. They recently moved from downtown Charleston to Mt Pleasant and just welcomed the addition of their third son! Born and raised in Mt Pleasant, Charles attended Porter- Gaud School grades 1- 12, thus earning status in the institution's 12 Year Society and currently serves on the board for the Porter- Gaud Alumni Association. Charles is a 2002 graduate of Sewanee (The University of the South) where he majored in Economics, was an active officer of the Kappa Alpha fraternity, and active member of various academic and social honor societies.

He is an avid golfer and plays mostly at Yeamans Hall Club. Charles loves the outdoors and likes to go to the beach with his family as well as fish (preferably with a fly rod in the local marshes) and hunt for dove and ducks. Charles' family also includes a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Penny.
