Clay came to the real estate industry with an interest and love for investing, being both interested and involved in the real estate and stock markets. He always wanted to find a career path that kept him actively involved in working with investments. Since he has always been intrigued by the real estate market, and wanted to become educated in the industry, he felt that becoming a realtor would be the best way to accomplish his desires of becoming a smart investor. This desire to learn and his background in sales and customer service made him believe that it was the perfect choice of career path, and since 2013 he has enjoyed helping clients accomplish their needs whether it be buying or selling real estate.

Clay loves the novelty of each day as a real estate agent. The uniqueness of each transaction making every day a new adventure. He also loves interacting with his clients. Each client he represents is making a huge financial decision, and he wants to ensure that they feel good about their final decision.

Because of his extensive background in the customer service industry, Clay wants his client's experience to be fun and memorable from beginning to end. He has even said, “My service extends far beyond the closing of a transaction. My clients can reach out to me for suggestions or consulting with any needs, at any time.”

He loves the friendly community of Boise and how it is very welcoming to those who move in from out of state. His favorite part about Boise would have to be the abundant outdoor activities available. He loves how close Boise is to ski resorts, lakes, rivers, golf courses, a greenbelt, and hiking/bike trails, not to mention the fun nightlife scene in downtown Boise.

Clay truly enjoys golfing, water sports, and hiking— any outdoor adventure really. He even worked several years with the Water Ski Pro Shop as a wakeboard instructor and has also been a competitive wakeboarder in the past.

Most of Clay’s early professional life was spent managing sales and customer service driven businesses in downtown Boise. He is happily married with 4 children and is obviously passionate about watersports. Family, however, is the single most important thing in his life.
