About Craig
Craig’s family has been calling the Bay Area home for over 55 years. He recently moved back to the Bay Area with his family after living in Lake Tahoe for the last 13 years; however, Craig never gave up his business and ties with the Bay Area. He was born and raised in the Santa Cruz County. Craig’s father, Howard Robinson was a well-known pharmacist in the area. He brought competitive pharmacy pricing to his local pharmacy in Capitola. Craig’s claim to fame: he has hit 4 hole-in-ones and his last was on a par 4 at 319 yards at Sierra Ranch Country Club in Carson City, Nevada. Craig started in in real estate over 22 years ago. His friend Mark took the broker representative route throughout the Bay Area, while Craig took the investment development route. He has turned over countless number of properties (via house flipping) throughout the Bay Area, as well as the Lake Tahoe area. Craig still has an extensive fleet of rental properties including homes, apartment complexes, commercial holdings and a 400-acre ranch.
Craig joined forces with Keller Williams Realty in Los Gatos just across the street from the local high school. Keller Williams is the #1 leader throughout the United States in real estate transactions. Craig will still be working out of the corporate office on Los Gatos Blvd. In the future they are planning to open an office in Capitola or Aptos. Craig loves what he does and feels honored to be able to help his clients with each of their real estate needs, no matter what the situation may be. When it comes to negotiating, most agents on the opposing side are a little intimidated by our aggressive methods. In Craig’s opinion, it may not be war in real estate transactions, but every deal that he is able to save his clients money on, is how he has earned his reputation today as a real estate agent. Craig has been taught by some of the masters when it comes to negotiating, including his own grandfather who started with just an apple cart during the Great Depression. He ran a pawn shop in East St. Louis and ended up moving Craig’s family to California and owning several acres on the El Camino Real in the Santa Clara Valley, which he developed into a retail shopping center, automotive center, adult bookstore, a candy store and apartment complexes. He also taught Craig about the value of a dollar and to always give 110%.
