Dan Helwig

I started in the Real Estate Business in 1969, and have been through the ups, downs, and sideways during my 40 year career. As a background, I started with a general Realtor in the borough of Lansdale, went on to be Vice President of a Mortgage Company doing commercial presentations. Later, I went on to construction lending with many hours spent appraising in commercial and multi-use type buildings. In 1976 we opened the office here in Flourtown; and, have survived the takeovers by the coorprate type Real Estate Firms while maintaining a personal touch to our organization.

In addition to a Real Estate business, I have been an active member of the Springfield Township Rotary, and have served on many committees, and have served as past President. Former President of the East Montgomery County Association of REALTORS, Past Chairman of the Skippack Township Planning Commission, and recently served for two years as Chairman of the Montgomery County Realtor/Bar Liason Committee. I also designed and built a small shopping center as well as sales of numerous new homes in Montgomery County.
