Dan McGivern

Dan specializes in representing buyers and sellers of multi-family and mixed-use real estate investments in San Francisco. His advisory approach allows him to tailor strategic plans based on each client’s needs and timelines. He has represented a wide range of both small independent and large institutional investors.
Over his first 7 years Dan has closed over $100 million in transactions, representing both buyers and sellers as well as facilitating 1031 exchanges. Dan is an active member of the National Multi Housing Group, San Francisco Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and San Francisco Multiple Listings Service.

Dan was born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County. After graduating with a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado he began his career in sales with Crocs Inc, a Colorado-based shoe manufacturer. He ran the company’s inside sales team for Canadian distribution and received an award for Outstanding Sales Performance in 2008.

Upon moving back to San Francisco, Dan managed the global sales team for Timbuk2 Designs, a San Francisco bag company specializing in urban manufacturing. His team managed all sales and distribution to North American brick & mortar and online sales retailers as well as international distributors from over 20 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
