Daniel has been told that his life is a result of making good choices and embracing change. Making positive changes has enabled him to selflessly serve others as he continues his real estate career. His satisfaction is the joy he brings to those who have blessed him as their agent of choice.
When Daniel got his start in the real estate industry, he was an imposing figure. He is 6'5'' and had a shaved head and a goatee. He did not look like your stereotypical agent. One day, when he was first licensed, he was driving through a townhome complex with his two kids in their car seats when he noticed an older woman walking through the parking lot with an oxygen tank. Back then, the best way he knew to find business was to ask around. It seemed like a safe bet that she had been in the area for a while, so he decided to speak with her.
Daniel asked if she knew anyone who was looking to sell their home in the complex. She told him she was thinking of selling her house. He excitedly explained that he was an agent and would be happy to list her home.
Then Daniel saw the house. His new client turned out to be a hoarder. No one else had been in the house for ten years other than the cable guy and the people that delivered her medical bed. These living conditions would not be good for anyone. He knew the house was not going to be a financial windfall. Still, he was invested. He wanted to help this woman and prove to himself he could do this job.
She had agreed to move to North Carolina and live with her sister. When her sister heard about him, she understandably believed this was some sort of scam. Daniel means, they would meet in a parking lot! It turned out that his client was also about to undergo surgery, which added to the stress.
His wife, his sister-in-law, and his mother-in-law volunteered to help him remove all the garbage and pack what she needed for the move. Over time, she would invite them in, and they even formed a bond.
After she moved, Daniel did not expect to hear from her again, although he hoped he would. Then, one day, he got a letter from North Carolina. It was a thank you note. Not only did she write kind words of thanks but also, because she had moved out of that horrific living condition, she was breathing better and no longer needed surgery! It was powerful to see just how much the transaction had benefited her health and her life for the better.
That was Daniels’s second ever transaction. Since then, there have been a lot of transactions that he has taken on that he thinks other agents would not be willing or able to do.
The transactions like that show a marked difference in his life. There was a time when he was a more selfish person. He did not always appreciate his family. He did not take care of himself. He would become irritable and argumentative. Daniel knew something was missing from his life: joy. There is a Bible verse about the fruit of the Spirit being love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He saw how each could lead to the next and made it his goal to pursue them all.
It was a pursuit that required work. How others viewed him and how he viewed himself began to change for the better. Daniel was grateful for what he had. He became a better husband, father, friend, and neighbor. It transformed his life and his work. This transformation led him to helping that woman.
Now, his work is fun, personal, and filled with satisfying challenges. Daniel looks forward to what the next day will bring, and he looks forward to working with you.
He was raised in Southern California but calls Idaho his home now. For that reason, he has a deep knowledge of the market in both areas and a love and appreciation for both.
Daniel has experience in home remodeling, electrical work, and plumbing. He can walk into a house and know what is right and wrong with it and how to fix it because he has done the work. He will always go over any concerns he has with his clients, so they make the best decision for themselves. He also owns a property management business, so he knows what it is like to be on both sides of the repairs and what are accurate prices.
His clients are very comfortable working with him. They even find the process to be more fun and entertaining than they were expecting. He looks forward to providing you with the same enjoyable experience!
