About Darrell

Team Turner, is the husband-and-wife team of Darrell & Angela Turner. Darrell & Angela first met in the fall of 1985 when they found themselves enrolled in the same real estate sales course at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City. While they didn't initially pursue real estate, they chose instead to pursue each other and were married in April, 1986. Angela, originally from Macon, GA, moved to the beach while in middle school in 1979 and has a rich background in legal work, particularly personal injury law. Darrell arrived from Murray, Kentucky in the summer of 1985, with diverse experience spanning construction, sales, management, time-share sales, and landscaping & irrigation. He began his real estate career as a listing agent for Fannie Mae. This allowed him to not only become familiar with the Florida Residential Contracts, but to understand them as well. Together, they have made the NW Florida Gulf Coast their lifelong home—raising three daughters, enjoying time with their grandchildren, and soaking up local culture from brunch spots to our amazing beaches. With over $114 million in career real estate sales, Team Turner knows the people, the trends, the market, and the little-known local gems that make this area special. In January, 2023, Darrell and Angela Turner became partners in the Counts Real Estate Group, Inc., brokerage deepening their roots and commitment to the community.
