David G. Holstein graduated from the State University of Albany in New York with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Political Science. After graduation, David departed New York and moved to Southern California to pursue a career in Commercial Real Estate. Beginning in 1998, David was working with Marcus & Millichap specializing in the sale of multi-family investment properties, and thereafter added retail investments to his long list of closings.
While working with Marcus & Millichap, David received the recognition of Rookie of the Year (1998), and National Achievement Awards (1999-2005). He consistently placed in the top 5 of his office during his entire tenure with the firm. David joined RE/MAX Commercial & Investment Realty in 2005 as a Vice President of Investments. In 2009, David Holstein placed #3 throughout RE/MAX Commercial in the United States, and #5 worldwide in commissions earned.
During David's five years with RE/MAX, he earned multiple awards including Chairman's Club and Platinum's Club, and entered their notorious Hall of Fame for his superior salesmanship.
In 2012, David opened The Holstein Group, whereby he utilizes his Broker's license and his member affiliation with South Bay MLS, CLAW, LoopNet, AOA, Co-Star, and AAGLA to bring expert services to his clients.
While not working, David enjoys General Aviation (received Single Engine Private Pilot Ratings, 1998), Diving (Advance Open Water Diver), and enjoying all that California has to offer.
