I’m originally from Northeast Ohio, and grew up in the city of Cleveland. If you are not from Cleveland, you soon find out that Clevelanders arbitrarily tend to view the east and west side of town differently. My point of view is, why limit yourself to only one half of this fantastic town? There is so much to experience and so much to enjoy in all of the Northeast Ohio neighborhoods. I have spent time living in the fantastic lakeside community of Lakewood to the west, and also to the east in the beautifully diverse neighborhoods of Cleveland Heights near the city cultural center of University Circle. My husband La Mar, also a Cleveland native, and I have raised our two children, Robbie and Leona, in Cleveland Heights. Our first home was in the Grant Deming Historic district near Coventry Village and after 15 years we traded up to a larger historic home only a few blocks away in the Shaker Lakes region of the city. It has been a wonderful community to live in, with its walkable entertainment districts, fantastic libraries, vibrant arts community and lush green spaces. We are Cleveland sports fans and you can often find us taking in a Guardians baseball game, a Cavaliers basketball game or kayaking in the Metroparks.
With 25 years of legal experience in the insurance industry, I made the move to the Real Estate world in 2021 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. At a time when folks were forced to stay at home, so many, including myself, realized how meaningful our homes can be as a gathering place and shelter for ourselves and our loved ones. Our homes are so much more than just a place, and it is an honor to help people find theirs. In that first year, I was named Rising Star at my brokerage — such a thrill at the beginning of my new career! I have proudly served more than 45 families in over 20 Northeast Ohio communities, as they bought, sold and invested in residential real estate. La Mar and I are also real estate investors ourselves. My clients are often people I know, but also people who are referred to me, and people choosing to work with me again and again.
