About Gene

I love living in the Inland Northwest and loves historic homes! As a resident of the Corbin Park Historic District, I have a special appreciation of the area and historic homes in general. Spokane is a treasure trove of historic properties, from turn of the century 1900's craftsman to midcentury modern gems. I love the character and workmanship of a bygone era and believes in restoring a home rather than remodeling it.

Are you a home buyer? If you are looking for more than just a house, but instead are seeking a home with a history and the character that comes with it, allow me to help you find the one that fits you.

Are you considering selling your home? If you own a historic home and want to sell it, allow me to market it for the right buyer, one who will embrace the home’s history and find the next “caretaker” of its historic charm.

This is about more than real estate. It is about your life and your dreams; I would be honored to assist you reaching your dreams.

Who Am I? Born in Houston, Texas and growing up in a small town north of Houston, I spent the first 25 years of my life in the Houston area, moving on to San Antonio, Texas for the next 20 years. My father was a home remodel/restoration contractor, and my mother was a wife and mother. He is a father of three and grandfather of six, who all reside in the San Antonio / New Braunfels, Texas area. Career moves took me to Dallas, TX for a year, then on to Seattle, WA for seven, Washington, DC for six and now finally in Spokane, WA.

After serving in management positions of Customer Care operations for the past 30 years, for companies such as AT&T, Southwestern Bell Telephone, Time Warner Cable and finally with Starbucks HQ in Seattle, I retired from working for big corporations and am now working directly with those I serve. My public and personal life for the past 35 years has been dedicated to helping people. From volunteering in his neighborhood civic association, or for the American Cancer Society, or the local AIDS hospice, to leading teams of employees, dedicated to assisting customers, through the red tape of major corporations, my goal has been to care for people.

I realized just how important the relationship between the buyer/seller and broker/agent really was, so I decided to become a real estate broker.
When you are making one of the biggest investments in your life, don't put yourself in the hands of a salesperson. Let a Real Estate professional, who is skilled in the art of Customer Service work with you through the home buying process.
