George has worked from the time he was fourteen years old, starting as a member of the maintenance crew at a local country club. After graduating from C.K. McClatchy High School, he attended Sacramento City College and then went on the the University of Denver where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degee in Business Administration in 1978. After college George went to work for GNP restaurants where he worked alongside his father. He spent over 30 years with GNP Restaurants working his way to the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing as many as 200 employees and an annual budget in excess of 6 million dollars. GNP owned and operated Original Perry's Restaurant (formerly the Trukadero), Mr. Perry's Restaurant, Kallie's Restaurant, Serfos Advertising Agency and King Distributing. He also served as the Marketing Director for The Business & Technology Training Institute (BTTI). George is a past President of the California Restaurant Association, Sacramento Chapter, and has been a member of the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. George and his lovely wife Janet have been married twelve years and are very proud of their two young sons, John 8, and Chris 4 years old. He is an active member of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church and has served on the church''s board in 1997 & 1998. He enjoys being active in coaching youth sports and working with Cub Scout Pack 118. His charitable work has included roles as a major fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Society, Easter Seals and Young Life. After obtaining his real estate license in 2004 he proudly joined Raymond and Michael Steele at Steele Realty and Investment Company.
